Laura Jack

Founder of CCA™, Author, Speaker, & Coach

Laura’s mission is to create a culture of compassion, starting with self, by supporting people to move through their grief so they can rediscover their Light After Loss™ and turn their pain into purpose.

Since her mom died in 2008, Laura has been on her own personal journey of healing and thriving, which catapulted her into a life of helping others with their own journeys.

She became a Holistic Health Coach, a Massage Therapist, a Transformational Life Coach, a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist®, a Trainer for The Grief Recovery Institute®, an International Best Selling Author, a Speaker, a Compassionate Leadership Consultant, the founder of Surviving to Thriving™ and The Compassion Code Academy™, and The Compassion Coach Certification Training™.

Laura currently splits her time between Austin, Texas, and the Pacific Northwest. She is a mom to two wonderful children along with her husband, Aaron.

“First and most importantly, I want you to know that I am a griever too. I am a human who has experienced deep heartache.

Just like you, something happened to me, and I had the opportunity to determine how I wanted to proceed with my life. I decided that I didn’t want to be defined by my grief, but rather I turned my pain into purpose and now have the wonderful honor to help others who are determined to rediscover their light after loss, to do the same.”

My commitment is to consistently show up and let the light inside me shine, so I can remind you that even the dark days have light inside. Together we align with intention and a purpose-driven action plan to reach your goals. Aaron leads the operations and implementation at Laura Jack Coaching™. He has been supporting this vision since day one, and he is responsible for the systems, website, learning platform, and aspects of design and strategy, as well as other behind-the-scenes necessities to make the business, run smoothly (like legal and accounting!) He truly is a “Jack of all Trades.”

“I started working with Laura to help her follow her passion and nurture her natural gifts into a career. Ten years later, it has grown into so much more than I could have ever imagined. I am proud to be a part of this journey and to witness the transformation in our clients. While we will never know the true, far-reaching impact of this work, I feel grateful to do something meaningful with my life and be an inspiration to our children.”

Robin Suttin

Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist

Robin Suttin is our on-staff Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist®. During her training at the Grief Recovery Institute® in 2015, she learned how to grieve the loss of her hopes and dreams for her life. She learned how to grieve the loss of those so close to her heart.

She learned how to work through the pain attached to the broken places in her heart that she had been too afraid to look at. The wall around her heart finally came down and she felt like she’d lost a ton of heavy emotional weight that she had been carrying around for years.

When Laura trained her in the Advanced Grief Recovery® Certification, she was an obvious fit to come aboard the team to support our clients. Her loving, open, and gentle presence is received by all she meets.

Robin currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas.

“The Grief Recovery Method® is it for me! I love seeing participants experience emotional healing and transformation through the work we do together. I feel honored to walk by their side, and I love knowing that our clients receive so much added support and additional resources. There is nothing else like it!”
